HALLOO ALL!

How's everyone doing?

Elder Ballard came to talk to us. He spoke about the power of the Book of Mormon, and the importance of the restoration when explaining our religion.

General Conference here was AMAZING also! It was like Christmas! Saturday Morning session was my favorite, with Stevenson's talk about the importance of the Priesthood keys! But of course Monson, Uchtdorf, and Holland made everyone in the world feel the love and acceptance of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. During all of my lessons taught over the week here I talked about Uchdorf's talk about the importance of turning to God first- starting with a desire, then hope, then faith, and then He will reach back for us. We must do the work before we can see the blessings from God. But through that we must also remember who we really are- pure, celestial, and divine. It was hilarious when Holland was announced as the last speaker, the entire MTC-in unison- hushed YESSSS hahaha and with good reason of course. Love that guy. Couldn't you just FEEL Christ's love for us through him?! That was so so powerful. In the end, all of conference was perfect. I need everyone who hasn't listened or watched it yet, to take time and do so! I promise you will understand why as soon as you do!

Tuesday night we had an amazing devotional given by Elder Ian S. Ardern, and his wife. One of my favorite things he said-which was hard to pick, because he said a LOT of amazing things was, "The Chosen of God, Are Those Who Choose God." I love this. Isn't it comforting to know that we are loved and equipped with talents and gifts all the same? We just have to choose God, and work in faith. And God will bless us.

It has been a great roller coaster here at the MTC, and I can honestly say I loved it. I probably couldn't do that if it weren't for the people I have been blessed with here. I love my Nords, and I love our adorable Scandinavian Branch. We have just been learning and growing so much here in the good ol' MTC. BUT WE LEAVE TO NORWAY ON MONDAY!!!! AHHH! I AM SO EXCITED. It was definitely bitter sweet having our last visit to the temple today for a solid 17 months, but it has been an even bigger reason to get out there and start teaching the people of Norway.

Wish me luck cutie pies.

Love you all forever and always!
