Gratulerer Med Dagen NORGE!

Hei alle sammen!

Hvordan Går det med dere!?

It has been one crazy and eventful and super duper fun week! Last Saturday we had a baptism for a boy in our ward, his family has been a little less active this past few years, but they decided to come back strong and wanted Jan-Victor to be baptized! It has been fun teaching him lessons and to see him learn and grow in our gospel, and his baptism was amazing! He is the cutest kid.

So Sunday I gave my very first talk in Norwegian! I was kinda nervous and kind of sick so in a bit of a bubble and had a bit of a stuffy nose, but everyone said they loved it and it was way inspiring haha so that is GOOD. I talked about finding peace in trials. It always feels good to share testimony of Christ, so I am grateful for that opportunity this past week.

On Monday we also had a little funeral for Elder Orr and Sister Vega, becuase they will be leaving us next week!

And then we headed to the beach with some members! it was a great time, and the oceans here are breath-taking!

We then headed to a soccer game with our member friends! It was so fun! I loved cheering in Norwegian! And we were in the perfect section, where all the drunk and insane fans were chanting hahaha . *Fredrikstad! Fredrikstad! Fredrikstad!!!!*

We then stayed the night in Sarpsborg with the sister's there and started our morning on the 17th of MAY!!! This is Norway's Independence day! And the reason for all of our festivities!! It was a fun filled day!!!

The first of the joy was playing with these tiny angels. I was almost in tears. They were the cutest puppies of my life. We hung out here for our morning, getting to know the memebers, playing with puppies, and taking pictures with their giant Norwegian flag!

awh look at our cute little district awhhhh

We then went to a way cute parade, where I saddly didn't get too many pictures.. boo. But all the Nords were dressed in their traditional costumes! Bunads! THEY WERE ALL SO ADORABLE. I was dying. Especially the tiny babies in their little tiny bunads. uhg I love this country so much.

We then went to a member's house, and their property was in the middle of forests and beautiful Norwegian country side! I died. It was so pretty. And we had dinner with their whole family and even went on a little hike down to the ocean which was just incredible. The forest reminded me of Harry Potter scenes the whole way through.

We then ended the day with dessert and headed back to Moss! It was so fun getting to party with the Norwegians on their country's birthday. I am already looking forward to next year! This upcoming week one of our investigators is getting baptized! We are all so excited for him.

Hope you all have an awesome week! Thank you a billion for the love and support! Remember to be patient with yourselves and to rely on Heavenly Father, He is ALWAYS there for you.

Love you!

Love, Søster Hutchings
