Ett År Igjen

6 months.

wow.

There is noooo way I have been out here for 6 months?!?!

Time flllyyyyyysssss you guys. I will tell you what.

To celebrate, here are 6 things that I love about Norway:

1. THE NATURE. There is literally nowhere prettier on planet earth than Norway.

2. The Language. AH you guys, I love this language SO SO much.

3. NORWEGIAN CHOCOLATE.

4. The people. They are all SO beautiful and dress so stinking cool and once you are their friend-you have a friend for eternity.

5. The cute cute cuteeee culture of fairytales and trolls.

6. The term koselig! Look it up and apply it to your life immedietly.

&&& here are 6 things I have learned on my mission so far:

1. My first transfer in the land, I started to become really sad and anxious

and it was driving me crazy! I hate being sad. So I did something about it. I started a happy book which eventually turned into my journal. I only write the happy things that happen in my life out here and it really helps me find the little miracles of the everyday. Wow. It is my favorite thing in the world I am going to keep a happy book for the rest of my existence. Counting your blessings seriously will change your life!

2. Being patient is KEY. I have learned so much about being patient with others, and with myself.

3. Don't worry, just work hard! (AND BE BOLD)

4. Ask questions. And find answers. Don't just sit around, feeding off of someone else's testimony-ask questions about our church, and find out for yourself that it is true! IF you are searching for answers about our gospel with real intend and with a sincere heart, guess what? YOU ARE GOING TO FIND OUT THAT IT IS TRUE BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY IS TRUE.

5. Missions are so hard sometimes. They really are a hardship, and a sacrifice, and yeah sometimes even a huge trial, but THEY ARE THE BIGGEST BLESSINGS. Oh my gosh, MY MISSION IS THE BIGGEST BLESSING IN MY LIFE. My mission really is the greatest cause for celebration. I have learned so much out here already and I have learned that it is only through the hard times that we can really grow into what God wants us to be, and it is through the hard times that we will feel the spirit the strongest.

6. Trust God.

...

I am sooo ready to take on this next year.

Love you all with my whole heart.

Thanks a thousand for all the love and support.

I was also thinking the other day..like this is the only time in my whole entire life that SO many people around the world will be praying for me??? Including the prophet?? Craaaazy. Missions are amazing.
