Process
Kjære Søsken
Wow Y'all.
I am continuously blown away by what human beings are capable of.
One thing in particular is the faith that the saints here in Norway have. They are the minority among people who absolutely have everything they need-No thanks to a god. Yet here are the saints-fighting and standing up for our religion and for their happiness.
They are SO strong.
I feel so blessed to have an opportunity like this to work with them and learn from their example.
OK switching gears :)
On my mission I have learned the true and beautiful meaning of the word 'process'
Anything worth something has to go through a process.
And the harder the process, the greater the result.
Processes take time and effort. which is often why it has become such a negative word.
I am constantly in the process of something-and so is everyone! It is such a beautiful thing.
Here are some examples of what I mean..
The process of Healing-
spiritually, physically, emotionally.
The process of becoming, changing, or growing-
into who we really want to be, into a better or even happier person.
The process of creating
(you aren't ever going to be 100% motivated or inspired)-
art , music, an invention, etc.
The process of learning-
How to become more like Christ, how to live life, an education, a language? ;)
The process of adjusting to change
Conversion is a huge process, and I have learned a lot about that as a missionary. Sometimes it takes people years to convert to the gospel!
The Atonement was a process, Repentance is a process. And both took\take time, and suffering yet both result(ed) in the sweetest rewards.
With all processes we just need patience and hope.
We need to realize that the reward at the end is ALWAYS so much sweeter than the frustration or suffering that occurs along the way.
Whatever process you are in right now,
Have hope, be patient, and go out and take the first step forward TODAY.
I love y'all more than I miss In-N-Out. That's a lot of love.
OK have a blessed week, and smile.
love, Søster H.
Ps I got my Norwegian drivers license??? I was nervous out of my mind but ahhh I passed, seriously though I was blessed to have an angel instructor to pass me. And fun fact-some Swedish members came to our ward yesterday and gave talks, and I could totally understand them??? WOW.
Pss watch this: Refuge from the Storm. Elder Kearon came to our mission and ah he is incredible and so is this Mormon Message.
