Misjonær
Hi how are you?
A member told me I needed to update my blog, so here I am. :,)
We had a pretty rad experience this last week that made me appreciate being a missionary so so much.
So for comp study my companion and I decided to read a little bit from PMG and the section we chose was about "finding through our own efforts." One of the points in this section states that people who have recently moved, had a baby, or a death in the family, are often receptive to the gospel.
That day we went out "knocking" and floor by floor of an apartment complex we went. We knocked on a door of a woman who started speaking English to us, and expressed that she had moved here from Poland. We introduced ourselves and she said that it wasn't the best time because she had to go and feed her 5 month old baby, and her husband was away because his father had just passed away the night before.
We were in shock.
We told her we would come back to share a message about where her father-in-law is and how they will be together forever as a family someday, and she expressed her thanks and said she would love for us to come back any other time, with literal tears in her eyes.
It was incredible.
I live for cool experiences like that.
Have any of you had cool missionary experiences recently?
'iaght hope you are all having a blast and celebrating every single day of your lives!
Love you lots and lots and lots and lots
