Hei dere,

This week was a funnnn one!

There was one day that somehow we ended up planning 5 different lessons, pretty much in A ROW, and miraculously they ALL happened?!

Not a single appointment fell through.

I'm sure there are missionaries out there like, woooow 5 lessons in a day? Big woop!

People, that isn't very normal for Norway. hahah

So 5 hours straight of teaching was a very fun way to spend a day as a missionary.

After we got done,

my comp and I were like,

"look at how much we can accomplish in a day, when we just put out mind to it?!"

Also contacting here in Bergen has just been my absolute favorite thing to do!

There are 1000s of people that walk through this city every single day and I have come to LOVE love love talking to everyone that I can.

We also had a cool little miracle, we went to a lunch appointment at a member's house and they invited their new neighbor over as well. We were able to teach her and she is now a new investigator. member-missionary work is the besssst.

This week I have also been studying a lot about

FAITH.

I have discovered the best way to study a topic or

characteristic that you want to develop is to think

about someone you know

who has that characteristic.

And then think about what it is that they do, say, or how they think, that makes them have it.

So while thinking about the faithful people in my life,

I made a lot of cool discoveries.

They are usually the most optomistic and postive people that I know. They tend to look for the good or the lesson behind trials and understand that everything

is going to be OK if they just trust that they are in God's hands.

They also tend to keep the commandments of God

without question.

And they do whatever they have personally been commanded to do,

even if that is an extremely hard thing to do.

Throughout this study,

it all really hit me of how important faith seriously is in our personal lives.

Like faith is what drives our decisions,

it leads us to making the next big step in our life,

it helps us see WHO God really is, by the blessings that He gives us because of our faith.

I made a personal goal to do WHATEVER God wants me to do, because I know now that

what HE has planned, is way better than what I have planned.

"I don't want it,

if He doesn't want it for me."

I want what God wants, and I can't tell you how good that feels.

If God showed you all He has planned for you, it would boggle your mind.

If you could see the doors He's going to open, the opportunities that will cross your path, and the people who will show up, you'd be so amazed, excited, and passionate, it would be easy to set your mind to victory.

This is what FAITH is all about.

You got to BELIEVE it before you see it.

God's favor is surrounding you like a shield.

Every setback is a setup for a comeback!

Every bad break, every disappointment,

and every person who does you wrong

is part of the plan to get you to where you're supposed to be.
